A snowstorm on the morning of Jan 16th 2007 left about 3-4 inches of snow and ice on the ground in Portland, Oregon. This is what happens to people with too much confidence in their 4WD and zero experience driving on icy snow. Video was taken around SW Salmon and 20th Avenue, which is pretty steep (to be fair).

Maybe from this point yes, it makes some sense. If to consider E8 to be, as it is, a whole looong story. But IMHO, it's really unbearable to watch the characters do all over the same every time, although they know everything's gonna repeat again if they don't take any actions. And they don't! I heard all about endless 8 already, I still really want to see it though. But I can't download it for a number of reasons, main on being I already got caught downloading games. Never got sued, thankfully but I am not risking it again. Also, I prefer to watch stuff I am really a fan of, like Suzumiya, in the best quality possible for the first time, and my PC will never have the same quality as my 42" LCD TV.

The first and only time I heard the McGarrigles perform this song was in DC in the mid-1970s. It has stuck in my head ever since (sing it to myself more often than I care to admit) and I was always disappointed that they never put it on vinyl. Tarantino is right about the fact that the film's ending broke with the theme of Travis Bickle being a racist. But the character Bickle did kill a black person, when a black youth holds up a store and Bickle shoots him. The original script of Taxi Driver was going to have the pimp Sport as black. But Scorcese changed this because there were concerns that the film would be justifying racism if it ended with the audience viewing Bickle killing black pimps as a heroic act.

I've heard the comments about Travis Bickle being a racist. I am black (and proud of being black and this movie) and Taxi Driver is my #2 movie right after Scarface. I watched it about a 1000 times and I don't feel that Travis is any more racist then anybody. He even owes money to a black taxi driver. Requires a lot more than 'juicing' - even if he is - it requires a great deal of skill: timing, weight transfer, torque, contact point, width of swing, core strength, grunt etc etc. I can hit 350 carry, but Im not big, necessarily strong and definitely not 'juiced'.
